Manufacturing of the first Scout test carts will officially begin December 1, 2015, according to the Cargo Cart Co. A growing list of Scout fans have waited patiently through final steps in development, testing and fine-tuning of the new product and are eager to have their own Scout.

The company’s website has received thousands of views from people in all 50 states, with folks in California, New York, Texas, Washington and Florida visting most frequently. The Scout will initially be sold exclusively on www.scoutcart.com.

The Scout is a high-quality personal shopping cart designed for active lifestyles. It expands the radius of what is walkable, particularly within pedestrian-friendly communities where homes are located near farmers markets, grocery stores, shops and other amenities.

“We are like kids waiting for Christmas morning,” said Cargo Cart Co.’s Allison White. “It has been a very long process — taking the Scout from concept to design to prototyping, then the patent process, and finally, now, manufacturing. The wait has been tedious but we couldn’t be happier with the outcome.”
